Welcome to this brand new educational blogger and parent tag. As all children are back to school (homeschool) after the long summer holidays I thought I would create this educational blog tag.
Education can happen absolutely everywhere, and not just in a classroom.
The educational blogger and parent tag has been created by Freddies Mummy UK. A homeschooling blog sharing the best educational resources found from around the world.

Educational – Blogger and Parenting Questions
What is your highest educational achievement?
I have a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance
What was your favourite subject at school?
Maths, without a shadow of a doubt. I never really enjoyed science and English literature was ok. But maths was definitely my favourite.
How are your children educated? (public, private or homeschool etc)
My 9-year-old son is homeschooled now.
Why have you decided that educational route for them?
As I went down the “traditional school route” Freddie went to public school as soon as they would have him. However, he never enjoyed school, and in my opinion, they didn’t push him enough academically. So 18 months ago we decided to home educate, and we have never looked back.
What is your child’s favourite subject?
Just like his mum and dad, Freddie definitely has a preference for maths.
What is your favourite educational game?
We have always loved playing games as a family, and now we homeschool even more so. Our favourite at the minute has to be Frenetic. It covers maths, science and English and we all love it.
Currently, he has three, David Walliams, David Baddiel and Jim Smith. He absolutely loves reading, but these authors are definitely the best according to Freddie!
What is your child’s favourite FREE educational game?
As of this week, it is Prodigy math. Mainly as the characters fight to win things, and although it is very educational it doesn’t really feel like it. Always an added bonus.
What does your child want to do when they grow up?
Well as he is only 9 this changes pretty much every day! It can be anything from a doctor, lawyer, stockbroker (obviously that is me pushing this one!!) to a professional gamer and rockstar. In fact this morning he told me he wanted to make the first immortal helmet while living on a private island!!
Do your children want to go to university?
Absolutely, although this is mainly so he can live on his own and have fun with his mates all day. Maybe I should tell him that there is actually work to do as well, and crippling debt ( I am so old, it was free when I went!!). But we will save that till later!! He is only 9 after all.
