Having more time to do every day errands is what every mother in the world wants. Your whole day is probably filled with changing diapers or chasing after kids. Working, picking up the kids from school or kindergarten. But in all that fuss, you forget to do those little things for yourself, and you can’t remember the last time you went shopping or bought a piece of clothes or jewellery. So being a mom doesn’t mean that you have to give up fashion and looking great at any moment. Here are some ideas on how to choose the right jewellery that will make this a lot easier for you.

Long necklaces

We can’t remember that there was a time in fashion history when long necklaces were a “no-no”. They are great since you can combine them with almost everything. Long shirts, sweaters, T-shirts, tank tops. If you like to wear dark colours, choose a metal necklace with a big pendant as it will be more noticeable on the dark background. Long necklaces are also great as you can experiment with them and wear them as a double or a triple necklace.

Striking rings

Your wedding ring doesn’t have to be the only ring on your finger. And if you have not experimented with them, they are probably plain silver or gold rings that mean a lot to you. But not striking enough so your hands get noticed.  Choose a ring with a stone in some pastel colour, like turquoise or light pink. Be creative and opt In for a ring with a birthstone. If you were born in April, take a look here – https://moonmagic.com/blogs/news/april-birthstone-diamond. A cocktail ring is also great as they will definitely be noticed because of their size and shape.

Watches

Every busy mom is dependent on time and has to have everything planned. That’s why wristwatches are pretty handy when it comes to this. But instead of always wearing a smart-watch that is, we have to agree, pretty practical thing, replace it with a more elegant bracelet-watch from time to time. That way, you won’t have to think of a bracelet and try to find the right one that will match your watch, and it will make you look more sophisticated.

Earrings

You don’t have to choose some big and shiny earrings to get noticed. A simple pair of pearls would be just fine. Small earrings are great as they are light, they fit every occasion, and at the same time, they make you look great. It might happen that, after an exhausting day, you just fall asleep with your earrings – that’s another advantage of having small ones, as you can wear them all day long without even noticing.

Bracelets

If you are already wearing a piece of jewellery, make sure that your bracelet is made of the same material. It wouldn’t be bad to choose some made of wood or thick metal, as you don’t want to risk that your kids unintentionally tear it apart while you are playing. Avoid bracelets with pearls, as if this kind of thing happens, you will have extra work to do, and you don’t want to spend an hour picking up pearls of the floor!

All this might give you some idea of what to get the next time you go shopping. And don’t forget that being a mom is the most exciting, but an exhausting job to do, so don’t forget to treat yourself after a long hard day by getting some piece of jewellery that will always remind you of the best days in your life.
