I have always loved beauty products and as such won’t even go downstairs without wearing makeup. I always have my nails painted, so when I came across Latest in Beauty subscription box full of beauty products I was over the moon!
There are so many subscription box companies in the UK now and there is no sign of them slowing down. From kids subscription boxes to alcohol subscription boxes, to sewing subscription boxes there is a box for absolutely everyone in the family.
Outside of the Latest in Beauty Subscription Box
The Latest in Beauty box from the outside is just a brown box with a pink sticker on.
Upon opening though I was very pleased to see the inside of the box was pink. With pink tissue paper and more pink packaging!
All about Latest in Beauty
This subscription box was founded in 2008. It has over 5 million customers in the UK.
They have worked with over 500 brands. Clinique, L’Oreal Paris, Nails Inc, Elemis, Rimmel, ESPA, Benefit, L’Occitane, Charlotte Tilbury, La Roche-Posay and many more.
What was in the Box?
I know in November lots of people wouldn’t want sunscreen. But there were over 200 items I could have selected. So they really do cater for everyone.
This subscription box could be ordered either as a one off or on a monthly subscription. You can chose between 3, 6 or 9 products in the box. I was sent the beauty guru box which had 9 items in, and as a one off order costs £25. If this was ordered as a monthly subscription however, it would only be £18. Which in my opinion is an absolute steal!
Cost of the Items in the Latest in Beauty Subscription Box:
Revlon Nail Enamel £3.95
Tinted Lip Balm £5.99
Gradual Tan in Shower £5.99
Kitsch Hair Ties £6
Glimmer Shimmering Sun Lotion £4
And just these items amounted to over £25 and there were another 4 items so well worth the money.
Excuse the state of my hands and nails but I couldn’t wait to try out the nail varnish. I only wear bright bold colours and this one will be perfect for Jamaica. I love it.
Review of Latest in Beauty Subscription Box
What I loved about this subscription box is it is not a surprise. You actually get to chose what you would like.
The value for money was excellent. I could have easily chosen 9 items that were of much greater value than I did.
Overall I am very happy with the subscription box and would definitely consider ordering it again.
