Freddie is now of an age (turning eight 2 days after Christmas) where I am struggling to find him cool gifts. That are age-appropriate and don’t cost the earth and are somewhat unique. I came across Scratch poster and I thought this would be right up his street.
They are a UK company and sell their scratch posters all over the world. I have seen the world map posters before but never anything that I thought was appropriate for Freddie. Until now.
Scratch Poster – 101 Things To Do as a Family
We were sent 101 things to do with the family SKRATKZ Posters. Which is now stuck on Freddie’s bedroom wall. It is such a clever idea, there are 101 different things to scratch off. Such as ride on a train, visit a museum, go horse riding, go to the theatre, visit a national park for example. We are normally busy at the weekends seeing friends or family. But on a spare weekend, we can now ask Freddie to chose something from the poster that we can do as a family.
What is nice about this scratch poster is a lot of the things can be done for free. Learn the alphabet backwards (which I can actually do quicker backwards than forwards – apparently I learnt it when I was 3 and it has stuck!!) or there are some adventurous days out.
Freddie could not wait to look over the poster and scratch off the things we have already done. Like ride on a train, and play in a water park. What is also great is scratch posters come in a boxed roll. At the top and the bottom, there are pop-out scratch tools which can be used.
Once it has been scratched off underneath is colourful. So it is clear what has been done.
This is a really large poster it is A1 in size (58 x 82cm) and it looks fantastic in Freddie’s bedroom.
Not only do they do this children’s poster but they also have a cocktail poster, an act of kindness poster, romantic gestures, plus others.
This is a great unique gift and Freddie absolutely loves it.
It retails at £23.99 but is currently on offer at only £19.95.
